I use to duck/goose hunt like a fiend. Every weekend of the season.

Seems like I wore out a reloader or two.

Anyway, over the years, got away from the hunting, but I'm thinking about making a couple of waterfowl hunts this season.

Any personal recommendations on some guided hunts - duck and/or goose, east or west side of Houston?

I'm in Cypress, so it would be easier/shorter traveling to the Kary prairie - or what's left of it.

But I did a few hunts around Anuahac (sp?) a number of years ago and enjoyed it.

Thanks all

I've used Double J outfitters and had good success but if you're not hunting with Joe or the Beckendorf guy your chances of limiting out are a lot lower in my experience.

I also have hunted a bunch of times with DUMAN on here who guides with WGO outfitters I believe; and would give him the Aggie recommendation both as a great guy and a great guide.

I've used Tim Kelley's Waterfowl for about 3-4 seasons. Good guids, great lodge, excellent service and always plenty of ducks and geese. They are located in Eagle Lake, TX. About an hour drive for you?

Check them out.
