skeet, from what I can infer reading the other forum I linked, a local property owner is overzealous about chasing people off from fishing "her" property (even if they aren't), and most locals don't care for her. She apparently finally picked a fight with the wrong person and got her ass kicked.

I hate people.

I feel sorry for the little girl. The rest of them deserve what they get.

I do like how, on both occasions when she starts to take the guy's picture, he stops talking long enough to pose and smile for the camera. That seems like something I'd do.

Looking up stuff it appears the woman who got her ass kicked is named Dawn Rucando and she's a guide and owner of a fly shop in Pulaski, NY on the Salmon River. The back of her shop opens right onto the river in an area called Town Pool where people like to steelhead fish.

Evidently, there's public access via the riverwalk seen in the videos. And Dawn has an extremely bad reputation for harassing people on the public side of the river for fishing "her water."

I saw the video and didn't see people fishing from the public side, just this Dawn character harassing people hanging out on the riverwalk. She gets in the face of some other woman who tells her to piss off, Dawn throws a punch, and gets her comeuppance.

She's clearly a bully and deserved the ass whuppin' she received.

edit: oh, and Dawn's daughter witnesses all of this from across the river. Surely traumatizing for the child but if you start sh1+ then it's your own damn fault for traumatizing your kid.

The two people she was yelling at had a pole in a rod holder on the rail, but that doesn't really matter. It's not her water and she got what she deserved.
