I came across this bone at High Island while walking along the beach. From my years of expeperience in not identifying bones I am pretty sure its a bone. I am thinking that most likely it is part of a jaw bone of some sort of fish. I just can't think of what it could be with those type of grinding teeth like things and pronounced lower or upper jaw part. Any help would be greatly identifying this for me as I think it looks pretty awesome!

Do not read this until the acceptable number of Aoudad, chupacabra, etc... answers have been posted.

It's a Drum (or family), those 'teeth' are back in the throat for crushing shells of clams, mussels, etc...
