Here is a pic and a vid I took of it going by. This is just a random bridge in Georgetown, TX and there were probably 150 people standing around. I can only imagine the amount of people they have seen along the whole route.

The vid shows MOST of the procession. It may have went on for another minute or minute and a half, but it was just more private cars and a couple LEO cars at the end.

RIP to a true American hero.

I suspect that most overpasses between Midlothian and Austin looked very similar to that. I didn't get there in time to watch it go by, but there were a ton of people on the Parmer Lane overpass as well.

I just got back home from the ride. EVERY overpass from Midlothian to the exit in Austin had people with flags and signs. I have never been more proud to be a Texan.

I didn't think they were the SC, especially since Kyle had no A&M connections that I am aware of. But looking at the SC web site, that looks like one of their "uniforms" and some of the people look the same.

Glad they were there, but the SC haven't had more than a handful of cadets in the last 40 years. Don't know why they hang on to the name.

Regardless, when I saw this on TV, I thought that THIS was a warrior's funeral.

MW, the only thing wrong with that video was how long it took the folks in the front of the crowd to give her a standing ovation.

I have no idea what her career goals are, but I bet there are a lot of folks that would vote her into office if she were to decide to make a difference. Without knowing her political views, I'm sure she could make a difference.

May God be with both of the families impacted by this tragedy. Sounds like every guy needs a friend like Chad as well.
