Not in South/East TX., but Steve Lancaster in Brownwood is very good.

Also, have it mounted with the mouth closed. Nothing ruins a bobcat like the "snarl" that some people have done. Looks completely fake.

Never had Freer Deer Camp do a mount but I do stop in there quite a bit during season and will second their work.

Sportsman Memory Shop in Grapeland TX. These guys are Aggies and do all mounts very well. Big African game to birds and bobcats. Check them out.

halfbean: I had Mike Moye mount a deer for me a few years ago. Dropped it off in late November and got it back in March/April. Very pleased with the mount. Not sure about a bobcat, but they did a very good job on my deer.

Major Creations in Houston (Cypress). Not cheap but does incredible work. Will give recommendations for unusual mounts if that is what you want. He works relatively quick too

Some of the best bobcat mounts I've ever seen have been on display at bars in/around San Marcus, so you might try there.

I'd love a bobcat mount. But man I wish they would put in things that are actually major parts of their diet, and I don't care for the snarling cats.

We have a bulletin board on the exit to the subdivision. It's never had anything like:

My brother had one done a few years ago with a quail at the end of its outstretched paw. Ron Coulter in Comanche did it for him I believe.

David Majors at Major Creations in Cypress does a super job. He has done a lot of Bobcats unlike a few pictured here that look like they were done by someone who's never seen a bobcat.

I just dropped one off 2 weeks ago to David Majors of Majors Creations here in Cypress. He has done several deer for me and does outstanding work. He said I would have the bobcat back in my hands by June for sure and possibly a little sooner.

Eddie's taxidermy in San Antonio is great. They have been around for decades. They do everything including bobcats and the owner is a great guy. He often repairs poor mounts by others. I have a mount that is almost 20 years old and still looks new! He has done a skullcap mount with hair, pheasant, and shark jaw for me. Friend had a bobcat done that was leaping at two quail. Turned out great! Ask for Terry the owner.
