I'm looking for an old tailgate for a craft project I'm working on. Prefer Chevrolet but open to other makes. The older the better.

I've seen those and they look pretty neat so maybe someday. Right now I'm using it to hang on the wall. We're in the process of making a nursery and the wife saw a retro themed nursery on the internet that featured a tailgate and now she wants to do it to. I like old cars so I think its a great ideal.

Cool. I bet you could use the tailgate as the top to a small wet bar or table in a gameroom too. Just put a thick piece of glass on top.

TexasAggie - I have thought about doing that. Make the the tailgate drop down from the wall just like a regular tailgate would and have a mattress pad on the backside to lay the kid on.

Parents stopped in Warrenton and Round Top today on the way to Aggie game and Dad sent me a picture of this 'Wall Hanging' he found. No info on price or how damn big the wall has to be to hang it!

That's a pretty huge wall hanging. Put a table top on it and make some space between the bed and cab and that could be a pretty cool bar

Not sure where you are located but my brother found some at a small junkyard between Columbus and New Ulm. He made some benches said they had Studebaker ones also.

Spider, I used to live in La Grange and traveled over to New Ulm quite a bit but unfortunately I had to move back to Corsicana which is just south of Dallas. Any chance you have a name or phone number for me to call them?

My brother could not remember exactly as it has been a few years but he said was actually between Frelsburg and Columbus.
