I had a Citizen's watch that was about 10 years old and showed a little of its age. I believe the cost was 500-600 at the time it was given to me. The watch has a fair amount of sentimental value to me as well.
Anyway my wife took the watch in about a month and a half ago to have the band fixed (pin was missing). It was suppose to take about 2 weeks as they had to send it in to Citizen's for repair. Anyway, as of yesterday we had not heard back from them to pick up the watch so my wife gives them a call. They now have no record of sending it off to Citizen's and can not find it in their store. LUCKILY my wife has the repair order slip. They are giving the run around, but are hinting at providing a $150 in store credit. I want my old watch watch, but realize that is most likely not going to happen.
Do I have any ground to stand on if I want them to either replace the watch (used) with the same model, or provide me with a new watch in the 350-500 dollar range.
