Search isn't working (does it ever?..), so I gotta ask I guess. Who's got the lowest FFL fees in town? I know Champion's is $25, but that seems a bit high to me.

Most are around that price. The lowest I saw when I was having one shipped in was $20 At Burdett and sons (where I had mine shipped) if I remember right, so $25 isn't too bad of a price

If champion is 25$ how much could you possibly save somewhere else...$10? Allow the establishment to make a small profit for taking the time and effort to handle your gun for you. If the extra $10 is a deal breaker maybe rethink the purchase.

He is asking because in some markets there are dealers that charge much more than what is charged locally.

Make sure the dealer you use will transfer the gun you want , some have stupid policies about what they will transfer. OP, try Great Texas Gun Co. too.

If I'm not mistaken Champions used to charge a percentage of the purchase price if they sold the same model... but that was years ago so they could have easily changed...

At any rate, there is no problem going to the place that is the cheapest, if two businesses offer the exact same service and one is $10 cheaper than I will save $10 every time...

$25 is pretty common. Up here in Fort Worth we charge $15 and free for ags.

I think Champion does charge a percentage of their sale price if they carry or could order the gun you're transferring. (for new weapons at least)

Yah if I can save $10, I will. There's absolutely no sense in spending more than you have to for a service that gains you no additional value for extra money spent.
