Hey guys, I'm hunting around Cotulla, and the land is pretty flat, so I'm guessing ground box blinds is what I need, and regular 55 gallon feeders. I'm looking for 2 of each.

Where is a good place to buy these and get a good deal?

Any suggestions to type and ones to avoid, etc.?

Also, where can I buy a good bit of corn for a good price around Cotulla, or anywhere in between there and Houston?

Many questions I know...

After much thought the feeder i would get would be a hang em high

Then I'd build my own stands

Look at south TExas tripods. He is just north of Houston in spring by the old parrot place. ( west side of 45, 1 mile south of hardy toll road exit)..

Chuck is a good guy, but those things are expensive.

Get blinds with towers. You van see a lot more plus I think it helps with scent control as well. I also build my own.

I'm not sure where the cheapest blinds would be, but you can get the corn at the Dilley Feed and Grain at their wildlife store.

Damn autocorrect!

Stop at the Super S in Dilley and nab one of their plastic jobs out of the parking lot on your way by. Or pick up one of them fancy executive jobs at Cazadores in Pearsall. If you're gonna just buy one any feed store, hell even some convenience stores have them. There are a shit-ton of options to buy blinds in that area.

I am more of a do it yourself er, and I build all of my own stands and feeders. If you don't have the resources or skills to do this, then I would get a couple of good tripods from academy and buy a crank up feeder. The crank up feeders are very easy to fill and less likely to get trashed by a hog or livestock.

I like to build things, and would love to build them, but now I live in an apartment, and they frown on me when I pulled out my skilsaw and jigsaw making my stereo cooler last year, so I think they may get a bit upset if I do it here.
