Anyone know what the employee discount is at Cabelas?

I seem to recall this is not a particularly exciting deal. Someone went there in anticipation of spectacular deals and was sorely disappointed. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but don't get your hopes up too much.
Cabelas isn't one to give away anything for a good deal.
i'm wondering if it's a cost plus 5% type deal (like Best Buy) or simply a flat X% off
I get 5% off with my cabelas visa and got this so I'd be interested in seeing what it is as well.

It varies a lot depending on the product. Its much more on Cabelas branded gear, less on name brand stuff.
I have been to this the last couple of years. As Sean mentioned you get more off on Cabelas branded gear, I believe like 25%, but all other things you get like anywhere from 5% to 15%.
surely it could be different, but my aunt works for sports authority, she gets cost + 5% on every single item in the store, no exceptions.
She's also in corporate (tax), so she may get a better discount than a store employee.
