Google is my friend, did a little reading, but couldn't find anything conclusive. Seems it depends on the type of hibiscus.

I'll watch for changes in behavior and the obvious signs (vomitting/stool problems). Outside of that - anything else I should be doing?

Stupid lab. He's 24hrs away from his first big boy dove hunt and he goes and eats part of his momma's prize hibiscus on the back porch. F.

Does Momma know yet? He might be in more danger from her than the Hibiscus.

I'll let the experts chime in, but it sounds like you have the right idea.

Oh momma knows. She found it when she got home and let ME know that MY dog destroyed HER plant. Lets just say its a good thing I'm gone this long weekend. Might have to leave behind some cash earmarked for a trip to the garden center.

My boxer tore throught about 4 hibiscous plants in our backyard. She had no ill effects.

She tried the same thing with the knockout roses I planted in their place. Needless to say, the thorns on the rose stems got her good and taught her a lesson. Or should I say that I got her good.
