Taking some guys down to Port A fishing and staying at Shoal Grass Lodge. Can anyone give me any feedback?

Also, any help on lure selection/color would be appreciated as well.

I don't really think it matters. I've only thrown one color for over 25 years. If you can cast....as in a spinning rod....I would look for the small Yozuri Pins Minnow....2" floater....dives to about 6 inches. I wouldn't mess with it with a casting rod.

If you can't find the Shoal Grass Lodge in Port Aransas.....look around Aransas Pass.

I'd like to hear your review on the Shoal Grass Lodge - I motor by it in and out of Hampton's but never have known anyone who has stayed there.

Not much help here, but I used to go when Duke Energy owned it. Really liked the layout and set up. I have not heard a whole lot since the new owners came in. I know they tried to turn it into an exclusive fly fishing resort initially. Please let us know what you think.

Dang Bull I'm trying to help. The new ferry is really big and quiet but not worth a long line.

The previous name just came to me. Used to be Teal Lodge.
