If you are south of Oklahoma then the only line dancing you are allowed to do is

Cotten eyed Joe
Schottise
Chicken dance

Unless your wife is a partier and occasianly the cha cha electric slide thing but only if it leads too..

Under no circumstance shall anybody perform the macerena anymore

So that's what your wife meant when she said she caught you "line dancing" on the porch the other day!

Never line dance when I'm bored.

One of the most appalling things I've ever seen when I lived north of the Mason-Dixon or have visited and my hosts &/or native friends wanted to go "country dancing" was that all they freaking did was line dance.

Talk of two-stepping, waltzes, etc. was completely alien to them.

I want to find whomever started this line dancing BS and punch him in the junk. If it was a woman she deserves a good swift muff punt.

Before Mr. Sass and I met he was on a trip out of state (to Louisiana, I believe) and asked a girl to dance. She wasn't the prettiest or the slimmest by any means, but he just wanted to dance.

Her rude reply, "No thanks, if I want to dance, I'll line dance."

He said he was *this close* to saying, "I'm sorry, you misunderstood me...I said you look fat in those pants!"

The two biggest liars in the world are those that say, "I never have!" and those that say, "I quit!"

Been to Missouri on a aggie band trip went to the only country bar, made friends and asked some girls to dance. I put my arm around her waist and grabbed her hand and she acted like in their dancing you dont touch each other. I asked her if she could two step and she said no it was too complicated, but we could line dance. I said where I come from we don't line dance but I'll teach you to two step. I did and it was fun, she then wanted all her girlfriends to learn how to two-step. I like to think it was just another way for me to do the right thing and try to educate those polo boot , palm leaf hat, Calvin Klein jean, collared shirt wearing yankees with their gold chains ruining a good country song

Damn things have changed in the few short years since I've been. The DJ used to call out anyone trying to line dance and get them off the dance floor.

Ever seen a bunch of women line dancing to "Fishing in the Dark" with folding chairs?
That has to be one of the silliest things I have ever seen on a dance floor!

My dad used to tell me that "line dancing was made up by fat women so they could dance too!".

I've been to more than one place where I've seen a disturbing trend......

Apparently there is a popular line dance to Steve Earle's Copperhead Road. I remember the first time I saw that I immediately sat there thinking.... "Man if he saw this, he'd probably turn over in his yet to be dug grave....."

Christ on a crutch... They line dance at the hall???? I am guessing they wear neon shirts too!

Up in Wisconsin, they all polka dance. It looked a lot like 2 step, but more hopping around than dancing

They do this horse **** at the hall now, too.

Signel: Yes, frats and flows wear neon.

They try to neon-out bars like they tried to neon-out Kyle.

A buddy of mine had a bumper sticker that said...Line dancing: what happens when cousins breed.

Unfortunately, I don't get beer goggles.

EDIT: I can also confirm that the line dancing s**t occurs at the hall. It's annoying.

A true polka is more of a one step

A two step is a 1-1-2

A polka is a 1-1

If that don't make sense generally when you 2 step your left foot advances twice followed by a shuffle of your right

A polka is just one step in time with each foot

Never been to Wisconsin but I bet we have more bohemians then them
