I'm looking to upgrade my optics set-up on my 10/22 with see-thru rings. Right now, I have a Simmons 22-mag scope and am not too impressed with it. Do y'all have any recommendations for a decent rimfire scope?
Thanks. I saw a scope in one of my gun magazines a while back that was mounted on a Ruger 77/22. It was a bronze-looking color. They wrote some pretty good reviews about it, but I can't remember the brand.
Ditch the see through rings. You can't get your head down and stay steady with them. They are awesome in theory but suck big hairy gorilla balls in practice.
I picked up a brand new Nikon ProStaff 3-9x40mm at Academy for $99 a week ago here in College Station. It was an impulse buy since they are usually around the $130-$150 range. It now sits on a Savage 93 FVSS 22mag.
