Want to stick a gun safe in a Master Bedroom closet. You gotta go through the bathroom to get to the closet, and I'm concerned about moisture/humidity. I was looking at a Redhead safe from Bass Pro that had the hole to run the cord for a dehumidifier. Other thoughts?

This one is supposedly made by the same people that make the ones for Browning. Reviews were okay other than the adhesive stink.

We've done what you are thinking about doing and haven't had any problems with corrosion. I bought some of those silica gel boxes and keep them in the safe. I bake em in the oven when they turn blue to "recharge" them and they seem to work well.

Remington Absorbent packs (don't know the real name) - I just bought one for my safe... $9.99. It has a little color patch on the front of it when you need to recharge it...

Academy has them directly besides the safes...
