Longshot, but I have a laser unit that mounts on the front sight of an AR-15 or M-16. It was made by Applied Laser Systems, Grants Pass,OR in 1993. Company is apparently out of business. I took it off the gun several years ago and the battery and paper work are both missing. Anybody have one or any ideas on how to find out the proper battery for it?

measure the "socket" for it and look up the common battery size dimensions. it'll probably be something standard like a CR 2025 or -2032
