She really didn't ask for it, and she really doesn't seem to care too much about it, but deep down I know she's got to be happy with it. I mean who wouldn't be happy with it? I took it to the range and it shoots great. Maybe one of these days I'll bring her along and let her shoot it too. But for now I'll just keep it in my night stand, or locked up in my closet.

Sounds like you may have a lot to learn about women.

It reminds me of a "Flintstones" episode where Fred gives Wilma a bowling ball for her birthday with his name on it.

My FIL was with me at the gun show and reminded me about that Flintstones episode too.

She does not like guns, but has said if someone came in the house she would THINK about using one. Welcome to the club - Sig's are fantastic! If she doesn't seem to gravitate towards the gun, maybe look at the Sig 232 (visually, think of the Walther PPK). Run you about the same price you paid for the 226 and they are great for smaller frame shooters and make a great concealed carry piece.
