This is Marcus and Morgan Luttrell side by side. Each one has half the Trident on their back, and the only time the Trident is joined is when one of their teammates falls in battle.

I thought this was cool as hell, and a great personal tribute from warriors in this world to warriors in the next.

Tattoos are for people who can't read, have no job and yet still find a way to spend $1000s on ink when they can't pay their child support.

Funny how tattoos have come into favor. When I was a kid, only sailors back from WWII had tattoos. So for my generation, tats were something the old farts did, no way would we do that.

Now that I'm the old fart, it's you dang kids who are doing it.

That's a bad ass tattoo.

Kind of on a side note. While watching one of the Dr. G autopsy's, one of the bodies she was working on was of a guy with a full upper torso tat, front and back, all the way up, covering the neck. After all the examination, the cause of death was found to be from the body overheating and suffocation, due to the tatoo keeping the body from sweating and cooling itself. The guy was out working in his yard when he collapsed.

I have a USMC tattoo sprawled out shoulder blade to shoulder blade on my back which just happens to sit next to two 2" 7.62mm exit wounds which probably means I have a itty bitty weenie as well, right?

Do you need a tattoo to be tough, absolutely not. Does a tattoo make a ***** a man, absolutely not. But your comment tells me everything I need to know about you along with all of your insecurities.

Im not a tattoo fan and I will not go around calling people out for their choices. That is actually a pretty cool tattoo, and I have great respect for Marcus's story.
