Anyone have any leads on a place outside Houston, preferably to the west in the Hockley/Waller area? Parents recently moved to Cypress and my dad is looking for a place that he can take my younger brother and close enough that I can drive down from school and hunt with them.

My uncle is a tree farmer in Hockley and owns a bunch of land around there. Goose hunting used to be really good out there, but has gone down drastically. There are still a couple good places out there though. However, I would HIGHLY recommend try to head somewhere around Eagle Lake or Sealy. Back in high school and first several years of college, we absolutely demolished ducks and geese out there.
