Guys and gals I am considering selling my WBY 270 mag, I have recently purchased a Remington Senderon in 300 Ultra Mag and now don't see a need to keep my WBY. I purchased this gun new approx 4 years ago and it has a $250 muzzle break installed by Briley's in Houston it has a fluted barrel on synthetic stock it is a killing machine! I figure I have $1500 in it...anyone interested?

How much does a box of 270 Wby sell for? It's got to be 50-60 bucks a box I would think.

I will get Sean to post a pic (i will learn how to post a pic soon enough), it does NOT come with a scope, however the pic will show it with a scope. It is in mint condition as far as I can tell and has been very well cared for. I will call around today and see what this rifle runs new out of the box and then put a suggested offer.

Got online and called a few places..this rifle NIB goes starts at about $1500, plus tax. As stated above I had a muzzle break by Brilelys put in that is $250 worth of custom work. So how does $1400 sound? I may take it into Houston to see what "trade in" value may be....I need a new 28 gauge shotgun anyway...so anyone think that is a fair price? Shells run about $50/box of 20.

cuz DVM prefers to rope his trophies

Boys usually start out with a .22 and then move up to a .243 or a 25-06 etc.

As they go thru a mid life crisis that will show up with a 300 ultra mag or a .458 Lott etc.

Once you get beyond that point you start working back down....I'm at 7mm mag....

I own a 416 Rigby as well....that must be my Porsche? I own several rifles capable of killing a deer and would like to reinvest in a 28 gauge over and under which I will shoot tons more, this will help me with that purchase. I am not old enough to be having a midlife crisis!! Yet!!
