My best friend is having his bachelor party at his ranch and I would like to bring a nice box of cigars out. Tonight I'm trying out the Macundo-Hampton Court. Any recommendations on a nice light cigar, as I'm sure not everyone there will be regular cigar smokers?

Puros Indios Piramide #2. #3 if you want a stronger one. Very nice for about $4-5 each. You won't be disappointed. We smoke these a lot during deer season, and I bought a box when my son was born. Good stuff. Boxes of 20 run in the $55-80 range depending on the vendor.

I would recommend going to a real cigar shop with a knowledgeable tobacconist if there is one around you.

That said, Padron's regular line make great starter cigars.

There are better cigars, but if spending for group, and much drunkenes will abound, the Macanudo Hampton Court in the Maduro would be a nice one. The Natural may be a little light.

I'm more of a dark smoke person, so I like Rocky Patel "the Edge" for a good party cigar if you can find them, but for a medium a good Cameroon is always above complaints.

He said good not shi**y! There are no good macs IMNSHO. Padron doesn't make a bad cigar although none would qualify as "light" in strength or body. Oliva G maduro or 5 Vegas A would both be full flavor but about medium bodied and probably both good choices for a group of mixed experience cigar smokers. While I don't like any PI tx4 probably has a good suggestion. CAO gold and gold maduro would both fit what you probably want as well.

I just hate macs and really pretty much anything general cigar puts out.

Vasa Magma Robusto Colorado - Cigar Aficionado just rated it their best cigar, scored a 93 and is only about $5 a cigar.

Quintero Robusto Honduras - scored a 91 (I think) and (if you can find them) only about $3.50 a cigar

In his atmosphere, and time average gars will serve a great purpose.

Vasa Magma? Really???

Casa magna is what you are thinking of and it is an OK smoke. I don't know about the whole best smoke of the year.

P.S. My roommate calls macanudos "Macadoodoo's" haha.

Oddly it did get the #1 slot in the top 25. It was not the top rated cigar though. It can't compete with but 3-4 cigars on the list.
