Anyone know of some good taxidermist in the houston area? I'm located lake jackson area and need someone real good for my buck taken yesterday. (Yes pics will come as soon as I can find my cable)

Palermo taxidermy in Bryan is the best. Expensive but worth it for something you are going to put on the wall for a long time. Jeff Foxworthy uses him for all his whitetail.

another vote for Major Creations. He has done several birds for me - just dropped of a PinTail...

Yall can ship me just about anything. I've got Elk coming from Colorado, Caribue and Bear from Canada, etc..all my taxidermists are masters as well as me. Birds are easy to ship via UPS and they get here the next day anywhere from Texas. Turnaround on Fish and Animals is about 4-7 months, Birds is going to be longer. Allen does some amazing work. I hope to be dropping one off to him on Monday provided the weekend goes well.

I don't figger I'd trust a man to mount a critter he couldn't spell.

If you are in LJ call Tim at Tim's Taxidermy, he does competition quality mounts, I have one in my office in Angleton if you would like to see his work, his quality is up there with the best I've seen. And I'm REAL picky about my work!

Major's Creations in Spring. This is the second time i've recommended him, but it won't be the last. I've used a number of guys around town but David's work, facilities, and prices were far better.

I agree with recommendation of David Majors in Cypress. 281-373-9959. He has done three life sized sheep (fourth one currently in his shop), a pedestal whitetail, five shoulder mount exotics and two bull elk for me. All excellent work.
