How long do you want to ignore this user?
I am building some washer boards and was wondering if anyone knew of a site/store that made custom washers. I found one site(bombatwashers), but I need washers that are 2 3/4 inches in outside diameter.

I am looking for an A&M set and another set.

Any help would be appreciated.

i got an A&M set from them too. great washers, but someone stole them from our tailgate last year when we went in for the game.

They are just a little too small in diameter for my boards. Apparently you have to order 10 sets in order for them to custom make them for you.

I got mine from a fastener company. In San Antonio they are stores like Nappco Fastener, Ace Bolt & Screw, etc.

1. Tractor Supply bulk washer bins.
2. Home Depot maroon and white spray paint.
3. Home Depot paint pens/sharpies.
4. Copy of The Batt.
5. Custom Washers.

I've found plain washers. I was just wondering if there were any that were already customed designed. Bombat has some really cool ones, but they are too small.

Are they really custom if you buy them from a website? I make new "custom" ones every few months for about 3 dollars for both sets. It's fun designing your own, and you can even make new "custom" ones for every game. Just a thought!

This is the route I took ... cheap and easy, with paint left over for touch-ups. The beauty of the Bombatwashers is they're powdercoated, and won't chip like my spray painted ones do. Just put on several coats, and seal them with clear.

Why do you want larger washers?

I make the 5 hole boards which call for larger washers.

I am going with making my own. I bought some washers and spray paint at Elliots during lunch.

Yes, please post pics.

I didn't know that washer boards used different sized washers.

What is the diameter of the holes for a 5 hole board? What is the scoring system?

I always had trouble getting paint to stick to new, galvanized washers. I started soaking them overnight in OSPHO. It roughs up the surface and holds the paint much better. Muratic acid would work also.

you could also use that plastic dip stuff used for tool handles. they have it in a spray can now too. i've used it on various things over the years and it's fairly durable.

I have the diagrams of the boards in word format, but don't know how to post.

Basically you have 2 holes up high, one in the middle, and 2 at the bottom. The middle hole is worth 5, the top 2 are worth 2, and the bottom 2 are worth 1. You play to 21. If you go over, you go back to 0.

And the holes are 3 1/2 inches in diameter.

Why not just make the holes 3" diameter and use regular washers?

Roflcopoter: Wouldn't the rubber coating make the washers bounce more?
