I realize they are two different products, but I forget which one you always recommend.

What is Green Sand?

What does it do for the yard?

Where would I get some?

Greensand is a naturally mined product that contains quite a bit of iron oand other trace minerals. It is good for soils with high pH in that it slowoly decomposes and releases the micros for a green color. It won't burn. If you have never used it before, double the rate on the bag for the first application and use it once in the spring and in the fall.

Can you pick it up at Lowes or Home Depot? Or do I need to go to a nursery?

What does it do different than applying Ironite?

They loaded up lava sand and I ordered green sand and I didn't see it until five days later

Azomite is a good substitute if you can't get Greensand.

Get the granules, not micronized powder.

Powder is cheaper but harder to apply, it's a fine dust.
