After suffering thru black ops 6/7, MW4 is looking like a masterpiece. Me and my trio are primarily running domination and hardpoint until we get a good feel for the game. Then we will begrinding search.
Currently level 20.
Fav gun is the VEL so far. Great range for an SMG. Been killed be the Patriot XMR and Heyon Burst a bunch

Best game I went 23-2 to start and finished 48-12

What do yall think about the boots on the ground feel?

The maps feel really good imo

The riot shield being a field upgrade is lame

Favorite spots? I like to control corners or high traffic areas

the portable radar is invaluable

Tried 2 games and immediately got a refund. Neither of the matches were balanced whatsoever. Maybe when it goes on sale for $35 and ranked is in the game it'd be worth grabbing then.

Its been awhile since I played. Probably 2 years since my squad and I stopped playing Warzone. Between life and kids and getting owned by the youngins, it just wasn't fun anymore. Sounds like they maybe got some of that back. Might pick up in the future but right now just waiting around for GTA 6

I will say that it's a lot more balanced for mouse and key kind of similar to MW19.

Saying MW4 is a masterpiece compared to BO6/BO7 is just absurd. Infinity Ward completely ruined COD in 2019.

Ranked won't be worth playing in this game. Completely uncompetitive. Plus now you gotta deal with all the AI console cheaters.

This is the first COD game since I haven't bought since I first got an XBOX 360 and started playing the original MWs. I'm just done giving IW money for these **** games.

BO7 got so much hate despite having great maps, lowered SBMM, and very satisfying gameplay feel. I think this new gen of players and the old people that want to just sit in a corner and inspect their gun with 27 attachments on it (no offense OP) just aren't compatible with classic COD vibes anymore.

Pick 10, nerf sbmm, keep lobbies together. Pretty simple and what people want

It will never happen, but I think COD would benefit massively from going away from annual releases to a COD mobile style game where you just have one game that carries over from year to year. It could have all the old maps, new map releases via seasons, an actual good ranked system with the best ranked maps from over the years.

The issue is you have to set it to one game's gameplay style and color/lighting, and there's obviously multiple different "feels" between Treyarch, IW, and Sledgehammer. Sledgehammer and IW are much more inconsistent from year to year with how their games feel, whereas Treyarch gameplay and gunplay are pretty steady. I would vote for a BO3 gameplay/design style without Jetpacks, because I'm a treyarch stan and that was the basically the best feeling/looking game we've had.

I've played a few games now and I really like it so far. After really disliking BO6 I completely skipped BO7 so it's been a while since I've played a COD game. I've always liked the IW games better than the Treyarch ones. Haven't jumped into DMZ yet but it looks fun as well from the videos I've seen. The campaign in this one was really good. I finished it before playing a single multi-player match.

I got excited when I read MW4 as a Mech Warrior 4 reboot...

The modern warfare series did take a 2 year break as it went bo6-bo7 consecutively

Whatever makes you feel better, man.

This game is designed for people like you. We play an entirely different game. It's ok for you to like that, and it's ok for me to recognize that old COD is gone and never coming back.

If you've ever watched IW devs play or listen to them talk about the game, you quickly realize they are absolutely terrible players and design the game around that with zero understanding of how the balancing issues will present themselves when you have a lobby full of players who can actually shoot, move around the map, and take advantage of movement tech.

alots of guns have viability, marksman, smg, snipers, ARs
still doing shipment 24-7 to level up but im feening to play some search.

and the apex attachments are cool too.
like the mosin nagant has a bayonet when you get the apex attachment

MW2, MW3, BO2, BO3. But it didn't truly go down hill until MW2019 came out and just completely ****ed up everything that made COD games feel like COD.
