Ok nerds, need y'alls help. I am illiterate when it comes technology regarding spliters, switches and matrix. Need some guidance and teaching.
Here is the situation, I am putting a monitor next to my chair in the livingroom so I can game. Connected to TV is the Roku and the Xbox series x. My question, I want to connect the Xbox to the monitor so I can game, while at the same time, the wife can watch what she wants on the tv using the Roku. And if she wants to use the xbox how can she do this without unplugging and plugging in cords. Do I need a spliter, switch or matrix. I dont have a monitor yet, and thats another question, what monitor to buy without breaking the bank.
So for you nerds, what would be a decent monitor for under 300 dollars and what device will work best to accomplish going back and fourth between the monitor and TV without disturbing one or the other.
I hope worded what I said properly. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Again, I am illiterate when it comes to this type of technology.

My demon woke up this morning telling me he was tired. I handed him a red bull & said "come on little buddy, we've got chaos to spread"
