Looking to buy 2 to 4 indoor security cameras for the home.

Would prefer battery/rechargeable. Local storage is fine, but would love to hear opinions.

Don't want to spend more than $200 or so.

Any recommendations?

$200 is pretty low for that many cameras and local storage without go TEMU or similar. Memory and hard drive storage space has gone up.

You might be able to find something with a 2 - 3 cameras and a TB of storage for $350 - $400 at Sams - Amazon or Costco.

Cameras with cloud storage can be cheaper because they make up for it (and then some) in subscription fees. Check out Arlo Cameras. You can view them live but lose a lot of features unless you have a subscription.

Blink cameras will do what you want for under $200. You can pay for their cloud storage service, or you can get the Sync Module 2 which you can put an SD card into and just use local storage with no monthly charge.

I have a couple of these. 2 for $130 right now but have been running more around $100 recently. They do need to be plugged into power. Ive upgraded the microSD cards so I can have them running 24/7 instead of motion/sound based trigger. Tracking and video quality seems good. It does also have a good tracking based off of sound as well since these can rotate all the way around. Lastly, you won't need a eufy station to run them, can run solo and work fine with wifi, but they are compatible to run with a home station as well.
