I'd like a sound bar that works seamlessly with my Apple TV and Apple TV remote. What would you recommend? Fairly big living room but don't need anything super loud/powerful.

I have a Sonos Arc sound bar on one AppleTV and a Klipsch 5.1 system running through a Denon receiver on another AppleTV. I use the AppleTV remote to handle volume on both.

edit: to clarify the Sonos Arc soundbar setup only uses the AppleTV remote so it's seamless. Not as seamless with Denon/Klipsch setup.

Seconding that, I've got a Sonos Beam hooked up to just the AppleTV and it's seamless.

Shouldn't anything with HDMI CEC work? That's how we have ours setup, and I think most modern ones come with it.

I had a apple TV sonos beam AV receiver setup, and there was audio lag that I couldn't fix

Did you try the Audio Sync in the AppleTV settings? It uses an iPhone to sync sound to the lips. It worked well for me.

Apple Remote has an IR emitter. You can teach it any remote.
