The sequel to one of my favorite indy games of the last decade. I had a blast playing this with my son.

It's an open world survival/base building game set in the back yard, "Honey, I Shrunk The Kids!" style.

If you havent played this game, catch the original on a steam sale if you can. It's easily worth it, even at full price.

This game will start as early access, but Obsidian Entertainment did a really great job at provided consistent updates all the way through full release for the original, and even had a few updates beyond that.

You can cross-play with PC and XBOX, 4 player co-op, sharable worlds (so you can play/base build while not everyone is online). It's great, a LOT of fun. I just love the art design and world-building in this game. The combat and weapon/armor crafting is great.

Still working my way through the 1st one and really enjoying it. Easy recommendation.

They just released the biggest update yet in Early Release. I would give this my seal of approval for getting into the game now. It was a little shaky and lacking of content when it launched, but this update really makes it worth getting into now, if you are interested.

1.0 is still likely about a year away.

Just started after the PS5 release last week. Having a blast playing with my buddy.
