So, finally got the pop up saying Ublock Origin is officially dead.

What browser has everyone else jumped to? Looks like I'm back to Firefox, but gonna do some more research to see which one is best these days.

There is a "lite" version on ublock site, no idea if it works. Im on FF still with chrome backup.

Yeah, I'm primary on firefox. I still love their multi-account container extension, being able to have multiple tabs opened with different accounts on google apps and prod/non-prod accounts on our corporate portal to test at the same time is awesome.

Being able to set up socks5 proxys with authentication is why i love FF. Chrome is trash for not allowing this.

I've been on Chrome forever. This alone may be enough to get me to switch.

All through college, and for a few years after college, I was a Firefox disciple. Then Chrome came around and it just performed better than Firefox. Started using it for the last 12 years or so, but this BS of them not allowing Ublock Origin is all it takes for me to move back to Firefox

It has just been such a long time since I've used it as my primary browser, was interested in others' experience with it in 2025. Sounds like it's still just as good as ever, though.
