Considering getting a Starlink Mini for our tailgate this year to stream 1-2 TVs. Has anyone on here used the mini before? Also trying to figure out what data package we would need. The cheaper option is $50/mo up to 50GB of data, then $1/GB after that. More expensive is unlimited but it is $150/mo.

I assume we wouldn't be able to have a ton of people connect their phones to it, but if someone needed to be able to call or text someone they would be able to as well, IIRC.

No knowledge of mini, but I do think I'd like to point out that the starlink app shows more data usage than I believe. I'm not sure what drives this, but it is quite a bit more than my prior provider showed. So, maybe ok to go minimum plan but watch it. I'm on unlimited so have never cared much.

One YouTube TV stream will eat up something like ~2GB/hour @ 720p, or 3GB/hour @ 1080p

You will probably need the unlimited for the months you're tailgating
