When I log into certain sites from my iMac, Chase, local bank etc, I get message that asks "save / recognize this device?" I answer yes.

When I log back in after computer restart, message says "do not recognize this device." And I have to do the text notification thing all over again and again…

I must have something checked wrong. I use Firefox browser. Boomer needs help.

Recognizing this device drops a cookie on your machine so that the next time you head to that site it will see the cookie and remember you. If you're clearing cookies at some point (or not letting them save) you will get the issue you're experiencing.

Given what was just posted, check the settings on your browser to see if it clears your cookies whenever you close the browser.
