I have a Lorex D841A8 System, but some (2 of the 8) cameras are failing and I'm in the market for a new system.

I'm considering new Lorex Fusion system but open to suggestions.

I purchased a dvr and cameras from them last year based on old posts I had found here and have been happy. I had my house pre-wired when we built a few years ago and did the install myself.

You can purchase complete systems or build your own - I opted to purchase individual cameras so I could get the setup that I wanted. DVR software will work with most camera types. I went with the R-Series cameras which are fairly inexpensive, so if one craps out, I can easily replace.

Wifi systems with instant notifications and 2way talk so you can scare off prowlers. Lord knows cops and DAs arent prosecuting property crimes right now, even if you spoonfeed them license plate, blood type, SSN, etc the perp will walk.
