I am looking to replace our Living Room TV. We have had Samsungs in the past so we are partial to that. Looking for 75" and thought about the frame tv since it was just on sale for $2000 but reviews make it seem like picture quality and processing power is lacking. Any other suggestions for under $2000?

For my living room (recent purchase) I went with a Samsung QN90C - the 75" model. Got really solid reviews overall from rtings.com and I've been very pleased overall with it. Currently its 1799 at Best Buy.

I imagine there are better TVs out there, but hard to beat the quality overall in this model for the price. Especially being a 75". Handles my bright room well, and I like QSymphony aspect when paired with a Samsung Soundbar.

Another model I was looking at was the Hisense U7K, but just couldn't pull the trigger on it. If you are wanting an OLED that handles a bright room, another option would be the LG C3 77" model. I almost went with that one, but didn't want a 3rd OLED in the house.

I also looked at the Samsung Frame TV, but I decided against it just after reading many reviews and seeing content on it. To me it looks great, and I liked the idea of it, but reviews were saying that brightness was somewhat a concern and it also had blooming/bleeding issues over time.

Hope this helps a bit.

Look at either LG or better yet Sony.

I went with the Sony Bravia XL90(I believe), in 75". Its pretty incredible.
Get it at Costco, and you get a free extended warranty, and a backlit remote.

I'm far from an AV buff but we have a Frame TV and love it. Now it was replacing a 12 year old Sharp so any TV on the market would be an improvement. But pretty much everyone who's come into our house has made a comment and complimented it.

Narrow it down using https://www.rtings.com/ and then go to https://www.avsforum.com/forums/ and read through the owners thread. Don't be brand loyal... Especially to Samsung.

Thanks for all the recommendations. I will definitely check out the different websites. Wife really wants to stick with a Samsung since she knows how to use it well, but I do think LG might be the way to go.
