Anyone have any recommendations for an app or something to send spam calls directly to voicemail? I have a number with an area code from where I grew up, so all of these spam calls originate with that area code. It's always obvious when these calls come in they aren't legit. It's just getting annoying having to decline 5-10 of these a day.

I do not have an app that does that, but I only answer calls from a very limited number of people. All others go to voice mail with the greeting, "If you do not leave a message, I will not call you back." IT eliminates a lot of calls.

Holy hell something happened with my # where I just got like 20 spam calls within about a 30min time period + random texts from incomplete numbers. I put my phone to silience all unknown numbers but that's going to be annoying if this keeps happening. am I going to have to get a new # or what?!

I ended up getting a new number. The auto ignore feature on the iPhone is good for spam but also sends real calls to voicemail and it was causing issues.

Have an iPhone? Go to settings -> phone -> silence unknown callers then turn it on. All calls not in your contacts are silenced and go to voicemail. No app needed
