Facebook AI is a little too good… friends tire was flat and I talked about getting something like this

Boom - this ad shows up

Anyone use this or prefer a different model? I'd like to get a device for myself, wife, and kids for all their cars… and you probably should too.

I prefer this style, by far. It inflates big tires all day long, and it doesn't need a battery. You're already down a tire - do you want to be dependent on a battery being charged when you need it, too?

That said, I also carry a NOCO jump starter that I top off a few times a year, for all my battery needs.

Portable jump box that has an inflator built in is a good option.

I have this one from Lowes and it works great.- Craftsman Air Inflator

It can be powered 3 ways, lighter plug, AC plug or a craftsman battery. I've also used it for soccer balls, bicycle tires, etc. You can set the PSI you want to inflate to, turn it on, and it will fill to that pressure. Only negatives are the reading on the inflator is usually 2-3 PSI higher than what my car tire pressure monitor system reads. Also, for the lighter plug, it actually has a fuse in it (one of those basic 2.5A fuses) and I had it go out. Good news is it's an easy fix once you know the issue.

Since I use Ryobi power tools ...
$80 with a battery 2Ahr

or
$70 without the battery

or
$35 without battery, but you have to hold down button to pump. I use this for Bike tires mostly.

It's not just Facebook apparently. I clicked on the link just out of curiosity yesterday. A few minutes ago I got an actual e-mail from them saying they "noticed" my interest in their product and wanted to know if I had any questions about it. Also sent me a discount code in case I wanted to go ahead and purchase one.

I purchased this pump a few years ago for our car. It has worked very well several times when there was a small leak or when the temps started dropping like around this time of year. It has the feature where you set what pressure you want and it stops when reached.

Ryobi is for the casual, but if you are into tools, then standardize on milwaukee or dewalt. I have the milwaukee tire inflater and it is good. I also have everything milwaukee. Lawn mower, drill, saws all, weed eater, light pole, fan, tire inflater, and who knows what else.

I love the idea of a portable battery charger option included in this tire inflating device so they can get a jump start too

Don't y'all think this is the perfect Christmas gift? Really like where this is going.

Just stress to them to remember to take it out and reup the charge every 3-4 months of non use. Nothing like a dead jump starter because you didn't charge it for a year lol

There are several options mentioned above… Which is the one that you are referring to? Sounds like that's what I want.

Hell of a deal on it right now too. On sale for 16.67 from 80

But if that style/size doesn't work for them, lots to pick from

I have both of these:

DEWALT 20V MAX Tire Inflator, Compact and Portable, Automatic Shut Off, LED Light, Bare Tool Only (DCC020IB)

DEWALT DXAEJ14 Digital Portable Power Station Jump Starter - 1400 Peak Amps with 120 PSI Compressor, AC Charging Cube, USB Port for Electronic Devices

The former isn't battery powered unless you get one of their 20V max batteries or have one from their power tools. I leave it in my wife's car with no worries about the battery as I don't leave one in it. The second is rechargeable and sits in the garage but gets packed up for camping trips, etc.

I'm a Milwaukee guy myself but I didn't like either of the low cost options they had when I was purchasing.

I have this one and it is good. Got is as a gift for XMAS last year.

It has the car adapter too, so if your battery is dead, you can still plug into cigarette lighter.

I have used it with lawnmower and truck tires. Set the target pressure, hit start button, and it shuts off automatically.

This one has a good inflator, but I really like the combo ones that will also jump start your car, and even allow you to plug in your cell phone. Getting all 3 in 1 is really cool

The one listed above is sold out so still haven't secured one yet - but to me, that's a super great Christmas gift. Then just have them charge it every 3-4 months and it's always ready for an emergency.

Yep that sucker sold out like 10m after i found it lol but that same search criteria will work on most sites. "Jump starter with inflator". Walmart has many more, including this one for 40 that should work for most cars unless they have a very large truck that needs the extra amps to crank. Amazon has a bunch and the large box stores like HD or Lowes do too.

We have an older CRV and the front tires just seem to lose air and they can't figure out why, happens very slowly so I bought one of these and keep it in the car. Does the trick and not expensive.

I have this. Work great, holds a charge well. Used it many times in parking lots for other cars' batteries. The inflator has a feature where you can set a value and it will auto inflate. I use it at home over my air compressor.

Labmansid has the same thing I do. If you have wife/daughters, buy these for all of your cars and show them how to use it.

I've had a ViAir for the last 5 or 6 years. I use it every time I need to top off the air in my tires. Just used it last week. It hides under the back seat in my truck.
