Bought a Vizio TV which had decent reviews, but finding the OS is really, really slow....

Is this a known issue with Vizio TVs, or did I get a lemon?

For comparison, I have another TV with built in ROKU and it is very responsive and quick to navigate the menus. Disappointed as the Vizio had good reviews.

What model? I have a few that a responsive and one that isn't the E isn't great. I mostly have everything on FireTVs so it's only one system and everyone is used to it.

They are a little slow, probably a result of using cheaper components to keep the cost lower than other TVs

Most onboard TV OSs are slow, I always go with an external device.

Same. TV OS can be a backup if needed, but if it doesn't have something better built in already, I'm just connecting something else.

How does the Amazon Fire stick 4K Max compare to a Roku? I'm thinking about grabbing one to try on my LG.

If you have an iPhone/iPad you are better off getting an Apple TV 4k for the seamless integration
