How long do you want to ignore this user?
Possibly not the right place for this question, but not really sure where to ask it.

I need to stick an 8.5"x11" drawing on the inside door of an enclosure so the drawings don't get lost. I found a self laminating pouch and tried to only use one side of it to stick it on the door but it wasn't sticky enough to hold.

Any other suggestions? I've tried lots of googling but I haven't had any luck, finding lots of pouches. I've been told about these but I don't know what the name would be to find what I'm looking for.

Transparent contact paper? A 3 ring binder pouch thing and some packing tape?

I build electrical control systems, here are two options you might want to consider...

1) Most electrical enclosures come with these, but here is one on zoro

Link to Buy on Zoro:

Then print on normal paper and stick in the pocket. This is what we do on every panel.

2) The 2nd option you can do is buy a full sheet label and print with a laser printer...

https://www.amazon.com/iLable-Sticker-Inkjet-Printers-Sheets/dp/B07Q61L831

It may not last forever, but likely if using laser, it will last for quite a while.
I would not recommend inkjet as I think the ink would run if inside of door gets wet or condensation.

3) Third Option is to buy some 3M VHB Double Sided Tape

https://www.amazon.com/Double-HitLights-Mounting-Waterproof-0-39Inch/dp/B09C24R8V8/

This stuff is really sticky and once it is stuck is a real bugger to get off. This is what we attach the panel labels that describe the functions of the lights and switches.

Any other questions, let me know, be happy to help...

We build them too, I had just never been asked to put the drawings on the door. We usually send laminated prints and no one has had issues with that.

I think we're going with the laser jet route and see how that looks.

I don't know your budget for this project, nor how many you'll end up needing to make, nor whether you need those drawings to be weatherproof and durable, but Brady makes a 10" wide industrial label printer that will produce some heavy-duty professional labels.

Brady Industrial Sign Label Printer - 10" wide

It appears you can connect it to a PC, download your drawing, and print your label on one of several different label materials. The downside -- a $4,000 pricetag.

In our manufacturing operation, we never needed to make anything that wide, but we used the hell out of the Brother P-Touch laminated label system hooked up to a PC. It is, however, limited to labels 1.5" in width. It was also a whole lot cheaper.
