Anyone purchased and played this yet? Is it as legit as the reviews are making it sound?
This appears to be much shorter than Tactics. Maybe 20 to 25 hours without grinding or min maxing. Lots of replayability from your choices. I played the demo twice to go both routes. It's been enjoyable and I can see some of the fights on hard being quite challenging.Prime0882 said:
I'm optimistic for this one - hoping that it's in the same league as FFT or Tactics Ogre. I keep hoping for a FFT remake but hopefully this will scratch that itch.

Sure is go to the encampment, go to the tavern guy at the bar in the back and do the mental mock battles. Can grind for xp and materials. Also affects the invisible conviction tally.CC09LawAg said:aezmvp said:This appears to be much shorter than Tactics. Maybe 20 to 25 hours without grinding or min maxing. I just barely started it late last night - is there no way to just do random encounters and grind?

Sweet thanks. I am old school, if I can't grind in a game and waste hours playing then I'm disappointed.
The stuff where you can create pools of water and electrocute the water area is great. You can also create using items burnable areas and such. I'm enjoying so far.Satellite of Love said:
I started a few days ago with only a few hours in. I like the battle system so far. Graphics look good to me. I really enjoy that type of style. It feels like its filling that hole of Ogre Battle 64 from many years ago.
I had to get my butt kicked about 5 times on the tourney battle till it clicked. Now that I understand the mechanics a bit better, I'm really enjoying it.aezmvp said:The stuff where you can create pools of water and electrocute the water area is great.
