Disable pined messages

Is there a way to disable iPhone from automatically pinning some text messages?

It's completely random and I can't fine an option turn is off all together.

When looking at your messages do you see a circle with a few dots at the top? There's a menu item to edit pins from there.

I can unpin the messages, but it keeps randomly putting others at the top as pinned even though I don't tell it too.

My guess is you're doing the butt dialing equivalent of pinning messages
