Cross posted in the Classifieds:

My Aunt has decided to downsize soon and asked me to try to help her figure out how to sell her ridiculously large collection of Star Trek memorabilia, books, toys, commemorative plates and glasses, trading cards, magazines, etc. Much of it is unopened or in original packaging and dates from the mid 70s to probably 2018 or so.

What would you do with something like that? Anyone know of a consignment place that would be good for something like this?

She is located in Allen if that is helpful info. Thanks in advance for any advice or tips.

I've consigned a book collection before but that was for a broader range of literature. This seems more complicated than that for some reason.

Have you performed a full Data analysis of the inventory?

If not, I know who can help. He's fully functional.

Best bet will probably be through Reddit or Facebook Marketplace. Maybe Craigslist

Try Dallas Vintage Toys or Retro Madness.

They both deal in collectibles and would probably be able to buy everything.

There's probably a star trek forum and reddit sub out there for collecting this stuff. You may be able to do better there.

Comic Book Shops or a Antique Shop is your best bet to do the whole collection. You'll want to look for a comic book shop that is fairly large, the smaller ones might not be able to handle it. You won't get the most money out of it but you might be able to off load the whole collection

Ebay will give you the most money but it's a lot harder / longer process of selling everything individually. I'd spot check Ebay and try to figure out what is actually valuable vs. what is junk and try sell off the highest end items there.

Last would be get a booth at a flea market and try to sell it off there.
