I have a Nebula Mars II projector that just doesnt cut it for sound quality for outdoor movie nights. It has an 3.5 mm audio out. What is a good option that isnt crazy expensive to bump up the sound level?

Just get a cheap sound bar. ROKU has one with the roku unit baked in that seems decent. Amazon basics has several as well.

Most Bluetooth speakers have a 3.5mm, or you could do a 3.5 to Bluetooth transmitter, if you want wireless speakers.

I grab my USB powered computer speakers for movie nights outside on our cheap projector.

My projector does have two 3.5mm audio outs. One for a speaker and one for headphones. Have to use the head phone jack for it to play at good volumes.

USB from the projector is more than enough to power it.

I use a JBL Bluetooth speaker with 3.5mm input. Works great. Has the advantage of not needing power if it is charged. One less cord for the kids to trip over.

Get a Sonos MOVE and use bluetooth.
