Just thought I'd drop a note. Our house already had two Nest thermostats installed so we decided to go with more of the Nest products. I've now self installed two ourdoor cameras, hello doorbell and the hub in the kitchen. Other than having to buy a $30 Wi-Fi extender after the fact for my front camera, everything was super easy to do and the finished product is so cool! The ability to see everything in 1080p from anywhere in the world is just awesome and the $12 a month for the premium package for recording is super cheap. Only thing I wish I could do is figure out a way for the current brinks alarm system to work with nest/google home. Otherwise, very positive review overall

I've DiY'd my house with Nest products as well and is very pleased with it all. Though now discontinued, we also installed the Nest Secure and is able to incorporate that I to the Nest Hub/home routines. Home routines are my favorite part of the Nest ecosystem.

I'm slowly replacing old stuff in my house that the previous owner put in. Ecobee thermostat went bonkers... replaced with Nest. Ring doorbell went caput... was thinking of going with Nest here too. House also had Nest smoke alarms installed so I'm practically assimilated already.

Sounds like y'all would approve.

I liked Nest better when it wasn't Google, but I've got a ton of Nest stuff. Very happy with it.
