And before you call me a fanboy I have both a PS4 Pro and Xbox One X. I enjoy both console equally and for different reasons.
I think this was expected. MS took a big hit when they launched the XB1 as a less powerful system, yet more expensive because they also focused on Kinect and multi media integration.
It didn't effect me, I loved the system... but they lost market share. Ever since then they've been pretty locked into whatever makes games better.
For me the biggest selling point is the commitment to backwards compatabilty. Playing old games like Dead Space, which I own all 3 digitally, is a big deal going forward. That will definitely win MS some points, but the Sony exclusives will win them plenty as well .
Should be an interesting console generation.
