Is there a VERY simple DVD copy software you recommend. I mean like non-technical key turn? Use to have and like Sly Fox

DVD shrink is pretty much one click and done, if it's still around and works

Here is the correct answer.

Do you have a HT setup with significant (at least $10,000) investment in a dedicated room with perfect dimensions to see full use of said hardware?

If yes why are you using DVDs? **** can the DVDs, invest in quality server and at least blu-ray. Use makeMKV to rip clean uncompressed rips and use a variety of ways to play them on said home theater. Probably 35-40GBs for Blue-ray and more for UHD.

If no (98% of users).. then save yourself the time. **** can the DVDs and choose one or two streaming services. Yes you won't have access to everything but you will find that you probably never watched all of them more than once or twice anyway. Streaming is good for most mainstream or even mid-range home theater setups. You will save yourself a lot of time and headache. You will spend more time jacking with your setup than actually watching movies.

It's more like 20-30 GB for most uncompressed Blu-ray rips with only the audio and sub tracks you need. I'm a 2%er, woohoo!

Dvds are at most 7 GB uncompressed. If you have plenty of storage, go with makemkv and rip them uncompressed.

I've digitized almost 200 DVDs now and I've only found one that Make MKV couldn't crack... Talladega Nights. Oddest thing.
