So looking for Black Friday deals on a tv for our media room. House will not be complete until June at the earliest.

I came across a couple of deals and wanted to get Texags thoughts.

The first is a 2016 model. At $1,600 I love the price.

OLED is significantly better. The settings where the Samsung Q-series might be prefereable would be in a very bright room with lots of direct light (thanks to the higher max brightness) or where it's going to be used to display the same image all the time (like the same news channel) where burn in might be possible on on the OLED.
