Not in any sort of way that's going to leave you with a usable phone after. Besides, as long as the phone is on the mobile company can track you without it. If they're receiving transmissions from it they can use three cell towers to triangulate you.

ok...do they even sell phones anymore that dont have GPS or tracking capabilities?

Not sure what you mean by tracking.

ANY device which communicates wirelessly can be tracked via radio triangulation. Doesn't matter if it's a phone or a handheld radio.
