Had one for a while. It has ups and downs in terms of signal and sometimes what shows/movies work.

Course 90-95% of what you'd normally watch does work. But just cause you can pull up a random movie made 30 years ago doesn't mean it'll stream.

ALso, could never get live TV to work on it.

Since I've got kids I also pay for PlayStation Vue and Netflix as a backup and those are way cheap compared to regular cable.

I thought Kodi got shutdown a while back? Or was I thinking of something else?

I am an originalist when it comes to the Constitution. As a result, I have no moral problem "stealing" anything that is more than 14 years old.

Not Kodi itself but one of the streaming services that use it. They usually make it a few months before another gets shut down.

I had been using "Kodi" formerly known as XBMC for over a decade. Well before they made it accessible to the majority of you plebes with a click and install functionality. Used to take days of tweaking to get even minor things working as well as those of us who used it contributed coding ideas to the XBMC forum. I'll stick to the media server I built that is currently set to download whatever the F I make it via newsgroups. New or old be damned.

I used kodi for a while, but switched over to terrarium for on demand stuff and mobdro for live TV. Haven't used kodi in like 8 months. I would recommend checking those out.

I second Terrarium. Much easier to use and don't need to worry about getting newer channels when the old ones disappear.

Yep, I use terrarium with real debrid and it works great. Mobdro is great too

Have you tried Live Net TV APK? It has hundreds of live tv channels with HD option to choose. Working perfectly without buffering. Best for Sports lover.

We had Kodi with version 17.6 I believe, It was going so slow and not updating and I found that version 18 is out now. Maybe delete Kodi on stick and start over with 18. Found some on youtube that helped.
