There have been coupon codes for backup cams or combo dash and backup cams on tech bargains every few days that have good reviews, been tempted to buy one.

I bought a $40 one from China. Display built into a rear view mirror that snaps over the existing one.

Installing it was a *****. (Routing wire through a minivan is tough) It's been going strong for a year though.

Might want to ask the automotive board too.

We bought a 2012 Honda odyssey a year or two ago. It didn't come standard with a backup camera but it had the LCD screen built-in. I found an aftermarket one and took it to Best buy where they installed it for about $80.

I was surprised Best Buy did such a great job on it. I'm usually a DIY'er but reading the instructions for running the cables from the front to the back had me doing a big ol' NOPE!
