I'm about to cut the cord with Uverse TV. in then next few months.

For internet only it looks like Spectrum/TWC is much more competitively priced
especially to remove the data ca, specifically in the 50-100 mbps range.

I'm thinking about making the switch, but want to know if anyone else has
experience with them, and their thoughts on the honesty of their pricing, as
well as the quality and reliability of the service.

Thanks in advance.

50 bucks a month for the highest rate in my neighborhood. It's pretty awesome. We cut the cord and do not regret it

I have them in San Antonio. They have been great so far. Initial calls for service go to India, but the techs are usually top notch. No problems with no shows, had one actually call me and let me know he would be a 20 minutes late because the call he was on was taking longer than expected. One had such a great attitude and customer service mentality that I called TW and his supervisor to give him praise.

I had issues with them at my old place like random drop outs, but it was an apartment with old wiring on top of using their mediocre Arris Gateway (modem/wifi router combo). I've had zero issues with them at my new place, though my new place is a newish house and I'm using my own modem and router.

I'm paying $47/month for 100/10 with no cap and I pretty consistently get about 115-120/12.

My only complaint is that as part of the merger with Charter, they dropped every package above 100 Mbps. Most of Austin had access to 150 Mbps and a decent number had access to 300 Mbps prior to the arbitrary decision to "standardize" all service company wide until the Charter side could catch up some. Just another example of how limited competition screws over consumers and how the Charter/TWC merger was a huge blow to consumer choice. This isn't complaint about the actual service I'm getting now, just frustrated that if I had just moved a month earlier, I could have had 300 Mbps instead of just 100 Mbps at my new place (or 150 Mbps for the same price that I'm paying for 100 Mbps now).

I did this same thing...won't ever go back to cable.

Just the yearly battle with them to get back to my "special" rate that takes about 3 months to get straight each time.

I used to have some issues with disconnects, but I don't recall any problems in the last few years. I'll still make the switch to Google if they every run infrastructure North of the Wall.

Switched from TWC to AT&T Fiber when we moved (now in Cedar Park) and the top of the line fiber connection is pretty ridiculous (in a good way, 300mbps down). Not sure what the price is by itself but we're paying $70/mo for it (also have cable tv with them) and it's been fantastic.

TWC wasn't bad but seemed to have pretty regular dropouts in service, not terrible but enough to be annoying.
